McDonald’s, a well-known leader in the service industry, has developed a process they call Accretive Innovation, which allows them to create value-added customer experiences while continually streamlining operations. Their Innovation Center in Romeoville allows them to experiment with new solutions in full-size working kitchens and restaurants.

He is also an adjunct faculty member of the Institute of Design at IIT, where he teaches classes on Design for Service businesses, and was a member of 2006 IDEA jury.
